How to Transfer Whatsapp Chat History from iPhone to android || WhatsApp, the most popular messaging app, is now allowing its users to transfer their chat history from iPhone’s Messages app to Android phone.
The new feature works on all latest versions of WhatsApp. Earlier this feature was only available for beta testers. The feature will initially be available on any Samsung device running Android 10 or higher and will soon be available on more Android devices.
Users will be provided with the option to securely transfer their chats from one device to another whenever they set up a new device. However, for this process, you’ll need a USB-C to Lightning cable.
Before rolling out this update, WhatsApp required that you take a complete backup of your chats and then restore them on the new device. This means that if you were switching from iPhone to Android, you would lose all your chat history on the first one. However, now there is no such requirement and users can directly transfer their existing chat history to the new device.
